Hey friends,
Hate to do this, but with thunderstorms possible between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., we’re postponing today’s all-church BBQ. I’ll let you know the new date as soon as it’s set.
If you’re planning to help with the parish clean-up, some of us will still gather at the church at 9:30 a.m. Please use your best judgment, especially if storms are expected during your trip home.
To make up for the disappointment, we’ll be hosting one of our famous upstate hikes on Saturday, August 22!
If you can help spread the word to anyone who might miss this message, I’d really appreciate it.

Another World Cup Watch Party · Wednesday, July 15 · 3 PM
If you can get free, join us next Wednesday at 3 PM at a location to be announced for one of the World Cup semifinal matches. Come for the soccer, or just for the convos and good fun. We’ll choose a national bar that fits the teams playing (Norwegian, English, Argentinian, or Swiss)!
Camp Elevate · July 23–26
While Sunday School is on summer break, please continue to pray for our children and youth. Our young people from St. John’s Park Slope, along with youth from Episcopal churches across the Diocese of Long Island, will spend 4 days and 3 nights together at Camp DeWolfe in Wading River. Pray that they have fun, build friendships, and grow in faith together.
